Rigdzin Chenpo
Here are the ten incarnations of the Dorje Drak Rigdzin Chenpo, each of whom has appeared in different periods to uphold the sacred Jangter, or Northern Treasures, lineage. As the principal throne-holders of Dorje Drak Monastery, they have carried the responsibility of preserving the teachings, guiding disciples, and maintaining the spiritual activities of the Nyingma tradition. Through their realization, scholarship, and compassionate activity, each incarnation has continued the enlightened intention of the great terton Rigdzin Gödem. In this way, the unbroken lineage of the Dorje Drak Rigdzins has remained alive up to the present day, bringing benefit to countless practitioners and ensuring the continuity of the Northern Treasures teachings.
